About the logo

Good Sky Guidance’s logo features a vibrant blue indigo bunting, a color which the male bird exhibits in the summer. This bird was Bazile’s mother’s spirit helper while she was pregnant with him, and it continues to be a guide for them.

The heart alludes to the heart lines within the Symbolic Petition of the Chippewa Chiefs that was produced in 1849 when the tribal peoples petitioned the U.S. to guarantee permanent homes in Wisconsin.

The sky and the water are meant to relay the balance and harmony that we aim to achieve in our work. Overall, the inclusion of an animal, sky, and water shows that Good Sky Guidance dedicates our work to the care and protection of the world around us.
